» [NEWS] The KOXX’s Park Sun Bin Involved in Car Crash

Park Sun Bin from the indie band The Koxx was involved in a car crash.

While headed to the rehearsal for the Grand Mint Festival (GMF) on the morning of October 23, Park Sun Bin’s car was hit from behind by a following car on the Olympic Expressway. The car was immediately moved to a repair shop because it had been partially destroyed from the impact of the crash, but Park Sun Bin participated in the rehearsal as he was not critically injured.

The Koxx’s agency told enews, “We recommended that he visit the hospital, but he firmly insisted to be on stage, so we’ve agreed to take him for a checkup after the GMF performance.”

Park Sun Bin said like a pro, “Because I’ve prepared for this stage with the members, I want to show our fans a great performance. I think [the accident] took the blow for the good things that lie ahead.”

The Koxx performed on GMF’s Club Midnight Sunset stage with special guest Han Hye Jin.

The band is comprised of five members, bassist Park Sun Bin (25), guitarist Lee Su Ryun (23), vocalist Lee Hyun Song (23), drummer Shin Sa Ron (23) and Shaun (21) at the synthesizer. Despite the members’ young ages, the group has performed at various large-scale rock festivals and overseas events with its new electronic garage genre music, receiving praise from Yoon Do Hyun as “the band with the most promising future.”
